About Object Health 
Object Health, a women owned business re-launched by Lori Hack in 2006, was originally founded in 2004 by Timathie Leslie and Julie Vaughan Murchinson. Object Health, is a management consulting group that provides health care organizations, government agencies and communities with health care information technology expertise. By leveraging electronic health information to improve clinical health outcomes and operational efficiencies, Object Health advises their clients on how to successfully address the intersection of technical and strategic issues of managing health care information. The group works with healthcare foundations, government agencies and non-profit organizations focused on bridging the gap between clinical information and technology solutions. With expertise in health care delivery and health care payer organizations Object Health helps their clients achieve improved quality and efficiency of care through successful adoption of clinical information technology within communities and regions. Most recently, Object Health has expanded subject matter expertise in privacy and security issues in electronic health information exchange.
Lori Hack, MBA, CEO and principal
Ms. Hack is the principal and CEO of Object Health, a management consulting group that assists health care organizations and communities with leveraging health information to improve operational efficiencies and clinical health outcomes. Among her current projects, Ms. Hack is leading the privacy and security efforts for the Long Beach Health Network, which has recently received a Federal grant to develop a Health Information Exchange in Long Beach California. Additionally, Ms. Hack is currently serving as Program Manager for the state technology initiative in the area of Mental Health Information Technology through the California Mental Health Services Act. She also serves as Program Liaison for the California Privacy and Security Advisory Board on behalf of the California Office of HIPAA Implementation under the direction of Secretary Belshe.
Previously Ms. Hack served as Interim CEO for the California Regional Health Information Organization (CalRHIO) and Executive Director for Health Technology Center (HealthTech). She currently serves on the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT) Privacy Expert Panel, directed by Secretary Leavitt of Health and Human Services.
Ms. Hack earned her BA in psychology at the University of California at Los Angeles, and her MBA from the University of Southern California. She is an accomplished national and international speaker and conference organizer. Her prior engagements have ranged from coordination of expert panels for research and forecasting, to organizing national conferences on Open Source Technology, Privacy and Security, Financing and quality assurance.
